Dementia Cafés are for people with dementia and their families and friends.
Look for a dementia café in your area and drop in for a friendly chat.
In Burnley dementia cafes are held at Rhode Island Coffee in the town centre, every 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:00-4:00 pm.
In Great Harwood dementia cafes are held at Café Latte , every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 1:00-3:00 pm.
In Pendle dementia cafes are held at Pavilion Café , every 4th Thursday of the month from 2:00-4:00 pm.
In Ribble Valley dementia cafes are held at The Sanctuary of Healing on Dewhurst Road, every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 2:30-4:00 pm. More info here.
In Rossendale dementia cafes are held every 3rd Tuesday of the month, 2:00-4:00 pm at The Old Library, Bacup Road, Waterfoot.
Carers’ Support Groups
Carers’ Support Groups are only for carers of people with dementia.

Singing for the Brain sessions – for carers and people living with dementia
Singing for the Brain sessions are for carers and people living with dementia and brings people together using music therapy, in a fun and social environment. They have sessions in Padiham and Blackburn. Dementia Friends Group in Nelson
Christ Church in Nelson will be run a support group with activities, for those with early onset dementia and their carers. The groups are held at 2:00 pm, every 2nd Wednesday of the month at Christ Church, Nelson, BB9 7EN.

Time for You sessions in Clitheroe
Time for You is a fortnightly session for people living with dementia and their carers. The sessions are held fortnightly on Thursdays, 11:30-2:00 pm at West Bradford Village Hall, Grindleton Rd, West Bradford, Clitheroe BB7 4TE.

Crossroads Care East Lancashire in association with Pendle Dementia Action Alliance and supported by the Community Foundation for Lancashire and the Co-op Colne, have announced a programme of singing sessions for people in Pendle living with dementia and their carers.
